Most Americans Can’t Guess Who Owns These Famous Brands

You probably recognize the logos, slogans, and products instantly. But do you know the massive companies behind them? Many of the brands people buy every week are not standalone businesses at all. They are part of much larger corporate families, with companies like Nestlé, PepsiCo, Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, and Mondelez International owning wide portfolios of food, beverage, household, and personal care brands.

This quiz tests how well you know the companies behind familiar names. Some answers may feel obvious once you see them, but others are surprisingly tricky. A snack brand, bottled drink, cleaning product, or breakfast favorite might belong to a corporate parent you would never guess.

The same pattern shows up outside the grocery aisle, especially in entertainment and media. Disney, Comcast, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Paramount are all major players behind many of the networks, studios, and streaming platforms people use every day. Paramount has also changed significantly in recent years, with Skydance and Paramount Global completing their merger in 2025, and a proposed Paramount Skydance acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery still facing international review as of June 2026.

So, how many of these brand owners can you guess correctly? Take the quiz and see whether you really know who is behind the products, shows, and services Americans use every day.
