Did you know that according to the “birthday paradox,” in any group of 23 people, there is a 50% chance at least two people will share a birthday? While this may or may not be accurate, some days of the year are more likely than others. Surprisingly, the most common birth date of the year is September 9th.
However, if September 9th is the most common day, it begs the question of which dates are the rarest? Thanks to data from the Center for Disease Control and Social Security Administration, we know exactly which days are the rarest in descending order based on US birth data from 1994 to 2014.
