The markets are full of portable movie screens of all kinds, with the most popular being the inflatable movie screen, the NOZZCO screen.

While NOZZCO provides many advantages as it can turn your backyard into a mini cinema, there are also many disadvantages you can only notice after the purchase. Let’s break these reasons down so you can find out if NOZZCO is worth your money.
Requires a Lot of Space
The NOZZCO portable movie screen takes up a lot of space and, although some people have managed to set it up indoors, it’s made for outdoor use. Keep in mind that you might have problems setting up in a small backyard, so it’s ideal for medium or large backyards.
Not only do you need the space, but you also need a place where nothing will interfere with the NOZZCO portable big screen, which is 14ft tall. You’ll need about 25ft of space, but also consider the 6ft structure at the back that supports the screen. It’s hard to tell how big the NOZZCO portable giant screen is by looking at the image, but it’s huge in person, so you should think twice about the space you have available for your home cinema.
It Doesn’t Hold Up Against the Weather
Since the NOZZCO is a portable and inflatable screen, it does not withstand weather conditions very well. The biggest problem is the wind because it’s difficult to anchor the screen and structure so that the wind does not interfere with the projection.

The Blower is Too Weak
NOZZCO’s portable giant screen comes with a blower but it’s small and weak, considering the construction’s size. It might take some time to inflate the construction, but also keeping it inflated all the time might be a difficult task for the small blower.
Some users have opted for a larger blower instead, which inflates the construction faster, makes it more stable and inflates it much more efficiently. However, you’ll have to purchase a larger blower separately from a third-party option.
No Reflective Coating
NOZZCO’s portable large screen is not equipped with a reflective coating that makes the projected image brighter and more visible. Usually, all movie screens come with this type of coating, so you would expect the NOZZCO screen to be coated to serve a better purpose, but that’s not the case.

It’s hardly possible to put the screen back into the box or storage bag that comes with it, and if you need to return the product, that would be a lot of work.

While it’s cheaper than the NOZZCO movie screen, it’s a bit smaller, which is something to keep in mind. NOZZCO screen is about 300 inches while the Towond projector screen is about 150 inches. While the Towond isn’t as large as the NOZZCO screen, it’s much better quality, so if you don’t mind the smaller cinema-like experience in your backyard, Towond could make a great alternative.

NOZZCO’s portable giant screen is a great idea and is made from a great concept, but it could use a lot more improvement, especially considering the price. The screen should have a reflective coating because that would directly improve the viewing experience, as would a better construction, and a slightly bigger blower.
With so many other offerings on the market, it might be better to forgo the inflatable design and opt for a solid construction that is easier to set up and take down.
