You must download and install the Opera Mini browser from Play Store or App Store to use the ChatGPT integration. After it’s installed, you can activate the ChatGPT extension from the Settings tab. Once enabled, a small chatbot icon will appear in the URL bar to allow you to produce summaries of any webpage you are viewing.
The synopses will be produced via a natural language processing algorithm (NLP) that determines what a webpage talks about, examines it, and creates a summary. The summary will feature some phrases and words “as is” on the webpage to ensure that the outlines accurately represent the content of a web page. Additionally, you will be free to tailor your preferences, such as the summary length or precise keywords that must feature in summary. These summaries will be saved on Opera Mini’s server so you can access them from any gadget anytime.

Opera is also considering other AI-powered abilities. Microsoft is restructuring Edge to augment an “AI-powered copilot” into the browser, whereas Google is developing an AI chatbot called Bard driven by LaMDA.
