Chat GPT-4 is the latest revision of Chat GPT from OpenAI. It features a host of refinements and some improvements to the overall model. This improvement in accuracy is reflected by Chat GPT-4’s outputs.
Previously, Chat GPT-3 lacked a certain degree of factual accuracy when prompted on certain subjects. GPT-3 could also be readily tricked into providing malicious outputs.
That is less of a concern for Chat GPT-4, which provides more factually true information while being trained to recognize and avoid malicious outputs. The overall pricing and availability for Google’s LaMDA are currently greatly restricted. Users can only effectively use LaMDA by requesting access through the AI Test Kitchen App. Thankfully, this is a free process for the time being. Getting a hold of Chat GPT-4, by comparison, is a far simpler endeavor. OpenAI made the keen decision last year to open access to Chat GPT-3 to the general public for free. This came with limited availability, but more priority slots were available with the payment of a monthly subscription.
Chat GPT-4 itself isn’t open to the general public as a free product but has completely replaced Chat GPT-3 as the paid tier in the monthly subscription.
