Why Should You Buy These JBL Tune Headphones?

Wireless headphones provide freedom of movement, so you can work out, dance, or just chill out without being tethered to your device. They’re usually smaller and lighter than wired headphones, and fold so they’re more compact, making them portable enough to take anywhere. And many feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a feature that tunes out ambient noise so you can focus on your music, audiobook, or podcast without being distracted.

Wireless headphones have some cons as well. They’re typically more expensive than their wired counterparts. They need to be charged regularly, though many do feature long battery life. Because they’re wireless, you may experience some connection issues as well. These issues usually occur when you move too far from the device you’re listening to. Interference from other devices can also cause you to lose connectivity.

At just 7.8 ounces, the first thing you’re likely to notice about JBL Tune 760NC Wireless Headphones is how lightweight they are. The earcups are comfortably cushioned, and the headband is adjustable. And they’re foldable, so you can take them wherever you go.

Many users say that these headphones produce sound quality that’s comparable to more expensive brands. While this opinion may be subjective, it’s important to note that JBL audio equipment is famous for producing deep bass tones that don’t overpower the high and mid tones.

You’ll be able to listen for up to 35 hours with ANC on and up to 50 hours with ANC off. And you can recharge these headphones in just two hours.

JBL Tune 760 NC Wireless Headphones allow you to adjust sound, manage calls, and activate voice assistants by touching a button on the earcup.

Are JBL Tune Headphones Worth It?

We compared JBL Tune 760NC headphones (list price: $129.95) to two similar headphones: the Sony WH-XB910N ($249.99) and the Bose QuietComfort 45 ($329.00). All three headphones feature ANC and Bluetooth connectivity and are described as being “comfortable to wear for long periods of time.”

We were surprised to discover that the JBL Tune headphones have the longest battery life: up to 35 hours with ANC on. The Sony WH-XB910N’s battery life with ANC on is up to 30 hours and the Bose QuietComfort 45’s is up to 24 hours.

The JBL Tune headphones are considered to have a “neutral sound profile with slight emphasis on bass.” The Sony headphones have a “bass-heavy sound profile,” and the Bose headphones have a “neutral sound profile with good soundstage and imaging.”

With Bose’s reputation and the price of these headphones, it’s no wonder that they have the best sound quality of the three headphones in our lineup. But the JBL Tune headphones are comparable in many categories (ANC, Bluetooth connectivity, and comfort), and come out far ahead in terms of battery life. So, unless you’re a serious audiophile, we suggest that you consider the JBL Tune 760NC headphones, which are currently on sale for just $64.95.
