Jabra Elite 5 Review
The Jabra Elite 5 earbuds are one of the most comfortable wireless earbuds. The in-ear fit means you can listen to music or podcasts while running or biking without worrying about them falling out.
There’s not much in the box regarding these earbuds — just the earbuds, three silicone ears, a USB cable for charging, and a carrying case with an integrated charger.
Aside from that, these earbuds offer excellent sound quality, with clear calls. It also offers active noise cancellation (ANC), which can reduce background noise by a large margin. The ANC works well in most cases, effectively muting the sounds of your surroundings.
The earbuds also have built-in sensors that detect whether they’re in your ears, so they automatically pause music when removed from your ears and resume playing when they’re placed back inside again.
The earbuds also have touch controls so you can control music playback without touching your phone or computer.
Jabra Elite 5 Pros and Cons
|Great battery life
|ANC doesn’t match the competition
|Excellent sound quality
|Pretty similar to the previous Jabra headsets
|Hands-free voice assistants
|Custom controls and EQ

Buy it if…
- If you want a pair of truly wireless earbuds that sound as good as they look. The Jabra Elite 5 offers solid performance across all genres of music and comes in a sleek and stylish design. The only downside is their lack of water resistance. If this isn’t a deal breaker for you, then the Jabra Elite 5 is an excellent choice for your next pair of headphones.
- If you’re looking for an affordable pair of Bluetooth earbuds that are still comfortable enough to wear all day long, then the Jabra Elite 5 is a great choice.
Don’t Buy it if…
- You want waterproof headphones. The Jabra Elite 5 isn’t fully waterproof like some Bluetooth headsets on the market. If this is an issue, you might want to look at another option.
- You want the best quality audio on a pair of wireless headphones. The Elite 5 isn’t what you want if you’re looking for excellent sound quality. These headphones deliver clear audio while reducing ambient noise but they don’t do it well enough.
