Almost everyone knows about Venmo and PayPal, but what’s the deal with Cash App? Can you use it to send money to friends or someone? Yes, you can. As it turns out, Cash App is more than just another money transfer app. It’s more convenient, secure, and rewarding than the competition. But how do you actually use it to send money? Keep reading to learn how to send money via Cash App in minutes.
Why Send Money On Cash App?
Before we jump into the steps of sending money via Cash App, let’s see why you might want to use Cash App. Why would someone want to add another mobile payment service? What exactly sets Cash App apart from its rivals, such as PayPal or Venmo? Well, there are some pretty good reasons to use Cash App. From the sheer convenience to the increased security features to the number of rewards you can claim, here is why sending money on CashApp makes sense.
Convenience
Sending and receiving money through Cash App is highly convenient. As long as you have a smartphone and internet connection, you can send money quickly from anywhere. With the convenience of Cash App, you won’t need to carry around checks or cash to make payments. Better yet, you can even link your debit card or bank account to your Cash App to do even more with your money. But, best of all, Cash App doesn’t explicitly require these things (unlike PayPal or Venmo). It’s a large part of what makes the app so convenient.
Security
Beyond the convenience of Cash App, there’s the app’s security. Cash App allows for safe and secure payments, whether splitting a dinner bill with a group of friends, paying someone for goods or services, or paying back a family member. Cash App uses the latest encryption tech and offers two-factor authentication to secure your account. These extra security measures add additional protective measures to an already secure app.
Rewards
Lastly, Cash App allows you to earn cash back rewards for using their app. Like Rakuten or other rebate sites, Cash App’s Boost program features discounts and rewards at certain retailers. You get rewarded whenever you use the Cash Card to make your purchases. However, the Boost is superior to Rakuten. It instantly provides a rebate instead of making you wait for a check to arrive. What’s more, Cash App frequently runs promos with additional cash-back bonuses. Plus, you can send referral codes to friends.
