There are many reasons why you might want to review your past YouTube comments. Perhaps you want to expand or edit your comment because you’ve realized it’s inaccurate or irrelevant. Maybe you want to delete it because you’re embarrassed by something you said. You might even be particularly proud of your YouTube comment and want to share it with others. How to See Your Comments on Your Own YouTube Videos

One of the ways you can see your comments on your own YouTube videos is to go to the video itself. These next steps show how to do this.

Step 1: Go to YouTube and Log in

Step 2: Go to Your Channel

Next, click your profile icon in the top right corner and click Your channel.

The video may be on the “Home” tab, but you can also go to “Videos” to see all of your uploaded videos. Find the video you want and click it.

Step 4: Scroll Down to See Comments

Finally, scroll down to find the comment section and see which comments belong to you.

How to See All Your Comments on YouTube 

The most comprehensive method for seeing your YouTube comments is to go to your comment history. Find out how this works below.

Step 1: Go to YouTube and Log in

As before, go to the YouTube site and log in.

Step 2: Go to “History”

Now, click History on the left sidebar and you’ll arrive at a page showing your Watch history.

To finish, click Comments on the right. This is found underneath “Manage all history”.

Step 4: View and Delete Your Comments

Now you can view all of your comments in chronological order and edit them. For instance, you can click the ‘X’ button to the right to delete a comment or click the thumbnail to go to the video and edit your comment.

How to See Your Comments on YouTube From Google Activity

There is an alternative way to do this, albeit a little more long-winded but, if you’re already on your Google Activity page, it might come in handy. The steps below illustrate this method.

Step 1: Go to Your Google Activity

Go to the “My Activity” page of Google using the provided link. Make sure you’re logged into your Google account.

Step 2: Go to “Other Activity”

From here, click Other Activity in the left sidebar.

Step 3: Find “Comments on YouTube”

Scroll down until you find the “Comments on YouTube” section.

Next, scroll down until you find the “Other activity” section. Within this, there is a section called “Comments on YouTube”. Click “View Comments” below.

Now you can see a chronological list of all the YouTube comments you’ve made. As before, you can edit or remove any comments.

How to See Your Comments on YouTube on a Mobile Platform

It’s also possible to see your Comments on YouTube from the mobile app. The steps for doing this are illustrated next.

Step 1: Open the YouTube App

Firstly, open the YouTube app and make sure you’re signed in.

From here, tap Manage all activity to go to the history review page.

Select “Interactions” at the top of the page first. “Comments and replies” is then under the “Video interactions” heading.

Finally, tap Interactions along the top to open this tab, then tap Comments and replies under “Video interactions”. This will bring you to the same page as the methods before, and you can view and delete your comments.

Overall, viewing your YouTube comments is quite easy, and can be done from the Google Activity website or through YouTube itself, as well as the mobile app. Comments are listed chronologically, and you can view and edit comments by following their video links or you can delete your comments from the comment history page as you wish. The drawback is that comments are displayed in a chronological list with no filters, so it can be tricky to find a comment, especially if you’ve commented a lot. While a thumbnail of the related video is displayed, the channel name is not. Comments made through YouTube Studio rather than through the Watch page are also not shown on this page.

Why can't I see my comments on YouTube?
