eBay moves millions of goods each week as active listings convert to sold across the platform. Searching completed listings is a great way to check on pricing, but can be easier said than done. With that in mind, we’re going to show you how to see sold items on eBay through the two most popular methods.
That would be filters and advanced searches, which allow buyers to hone in on sold items, whether it’s a vintage spoon or a PlayStation 5 bundle. That’s just for buyers, however, as sellers will need to turn to another area if they want to quickly see their sold items on eBay.
Sold Items on eBay
When you want to view sold items or completed listings on eBay, there are a couple of ways you can look for them. The classic search bar works, but only does half the job initially. You can find anything on the platform with the right keywords and a bit of luck. You’ll only get active listings until you check the right box, however.
Advanced search is another way to find sold items on the platform. It’s also a feature that tends to get overlooked, especially on mobile devices where it’s not advertised as such. While you can find items sold on eBay through either of these methods, it’s not the best way to find sold items if you are a seller.
eBay sellers can still find their listings through the general search function, but it’s like looking for a need in a haystack. You may have to dig through hundreds of listings to find yours if it’s a popular item. The best way to approach sold items on eBay as a seller is through your dashboard — a feature that’s far easier to access.
How to See Sold Items on eBay Website
This is the easiest way to find “sold” prices on items through eBay. It’s the best way to quickly get a price range, but not as accurate as an advanced search.
1. Go to eBay
On a PC, smartphone, or tablet with a web browser, go to the official eBay site. You don’t need to log in for this method unless you want to save a search or mark items.

2. Perform a Search
Go to the search bar at the top of the page and type in the items you want to look for. In this case, we chose a Pokémon Charizard PSA 10. The more accurate your keywords, the better your search results will be.

3. Sold Items Filter
When the search runs, you’ll want to look at the filters on the left side of the screen. Scroll until you see a section marked “Show only” and check the box next to Sold Items.

How to See Sold Items on eBay using Advanced Search
If you want to take your sold items search to the next level, using eBay’s advanced search function is the best way to do that. Again, you don’t need to log in unless you want to save results.
To use the advanced search feature, simply click on the “Advanced” label next to the search bar. This opens up a new window with a variety of search options including the ability to search for completed or sold items. Scroll down until you see the option as shown in the screenshot below and click on Search when you’re ready to see the results.

You should see a page with prices listed in green, which means sold. You can fine-tune those results in a number of ways, either through the filters on the left or by clicking on Advanced again. If you’re having difficulty narrowing down the field, the keyword options settings may help. You can also exclude specific words from your search or lock them into a set category.
Where you can really begin to separate items is through the additional filters. You can set it by buying format, condition, or by entering a price range. You can also narrow the search window by choosing seller options, including their location, or focusing on items that were only sold through an eBay storefront.

3. Set Filter
After the app finishes the search, you’ll need to set a filter. Tap on the filter button at the top (or bottom) to open up a new menu full of options. Choose “Show More,” and scroll until you see a toggle switch labeled Sold Items. Flip the switch to see the sold items results in the app.

How to See Sold Items on eBay App from a Selling Account
The methods we covered are ideal if you’re an eBay shopper trying to compare prices. Sellers can also use them to quickly gauge pricing before buying something to re-sell. If you are an eBay seller and want to see what you’ve sold on the platform, the best way to do this is from your Sellers Dashboard.
While you can search for your sold listing through traditional means, you’ll need to log into eBay with your username and password to have full access to your selling account. This works through the web or mobile app, but you’ll have more room to navigate on a desktop PC or laptop.

The Seller’s Hub on the mobile app also provides a nice overview of your account along with sold listings. You can access this data by going to the selling section of your account in the app. It provides basic data and lets you list or adjust things along with data from previous sales.
