If you have trouble remembering dates, you can schedule email greetings so you never miss birthdays, anniversaries, or other important days. You can even schedule an email you’re not sure about, giving you time to reflect and make changes. If this sounds good to you, follow the steps below to learn how to schedule an email in Gmail!

If you want a custom date and time, click on “Pick date and time.” When the calendar opens up, enter your selections. Then click “Schedule send” in the bottom right.
You can also click “Cancel” if you change your mind. Note that the emails are set to your time zone, so you’ll need to convert the times to schedule for other time zones.
Make Changes or Cancel a Scheduled Email on the Computer
When you schedule your message, you will get a pop-up confirmation at the bottom of the Gmail window. Click on “Undo” in the pop-up to cancel and send your message back to a draft. Now you can make changes to your message or schedule a different time and date to send it.
Alternatively, you can click on “View Message” if you want to see your message before making changes. If you decide to cancel, click on “Cancel send” at the top the message.
You will get another pop-up confirmation that your message was canceled and returned to a draft. You can now edit your draft or reschedule your message.
