How to Leave Feedback on eBay in Easy Steps, With Photos

Buying and selling items on eBay usually means you’ll be asked to leave feedback at some point. Leaving feedback on what you’ve purchased or sold helps people better understand your experience. For example, you can praise sellers for how quickly their items shipped or how well their description of the item matched the item you received. Or, you can choose to leave negative feedback if the experience wasn’t what you expected.

Leaving feedback helps everyone. Feedback helps the seller gain a reputation. As their feedback gains them positive ratings, their trustworthiness also improves. Feedback also helps buyers. Most people buying on eBay would hesitate to buy from someone with a terrible reputation. Instead, buyers are more likely to purchase from someone with decent enough ratings.

Feedback also helps sellers trust buyers. For example, if someone has a reputation for not paying for their eBay purchase, sellers can protect themselves and not sell to a buyer with a poor reputation.
