These days, being able to download games on the Nintendo Switch is easy to do digitally. No more need for physical copies of games, unless you want them! All you need is a fast internet connection and a credit card or PayPal account to get started. Here’s how to download games on the Nintendo Switch.
Before You Get Started
First, before you start downloading games, you’ll need to make sure that you have adequate room on the Switch to save the games you download. To achieve this, you may need to add more storage space using an SD card or external hard drive. This is because the Switch itself only has 32GB of storage, which isn’t enough if you like games with lots of data.
You’ll also need to ensure that you have set your Nintendo account up. Nintendo will save any games that you purchase under this account and profile, so you can access them as long as you’re logged in. Plus, your account will save your game progress. And, if you want to play online, you’ll need to pay for Nintendo’s online membership.
