Step 1: Log in to YouTube

Go to the website YouTube and look for the Sign in prompt on the upper right-hand corner of the page. Click on Sign in, and enter your information to access the site.

Step 2: Open the Library

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a row of options on the left side of the page. Find the section that says Library, and click to open a new page.

Step 3: Access Playlists

From here, you can see your YouTube history, purchases, and any playlists you’ve created. Under the Watch later section, you should see all the playlists tied to your YouTube account.

If you don’t have access to a PC or prefer to use a mobile device to delete playlists on YouTube, follow these steps. While we used Android in our guide, the process largely remains the same on iOS.

Step 1: Open the App

Open the YouTube app on your phone or tablet. Make sure you’re signed into the account you want to remove playlists from.

Step 2: Access the Library

With the app open, go to the bottom next to Subscriptions and tap on Library to bring up your YouTube history and playlists.

Step 3: Choose a Playlist to Delete

From the Library, scroll down until you see a section labeled Playlists. Look for the playlist you want to remove and tap on it to proceed.

Step 4: Delete YouTube Playlist

Look for the 3-dot menu at the top-right of the page. Tap on it and you’ll see an option that says Delete playlist as shown below. Follow the prompts to remove the playlist from your account.
