Method #2: Using the Gmail App on iPhone
You can create a group on Gmail using your iPhone. However, you should know that the Gmail app on iPhone can’t create a Contact Group. This means you’ll need to create a new contact with different email addresses instead of a contact group.
Below are the steps you should follow.
Step 1: Add contacts
Navigate to the Contacts application on your phone and click on the (+) icon in the top right corner.

Step 2: Change the contact name
Don’t include the first and last names; enter your Group Name in the Company field. For example, you can write “Group 1.”

Step 3: Add emails to the Notes section
On the same page, go to the Notes section and enter the email address you want to send to the group email. The email addresses should have a specific pattern (<email address 1> <email address 2>).
After typing the emails, tap and hold anywhere within the email address, Select All of them, and tap on Copy.
Note: The reason for typing the emails into the notes section and then pasting them into the email section is that it doesn’t support special characters <>, which are required when entering different email addresses.

Step 4: Paste the emails in notes to the Add Email field
Next, go to the Add Email field on the same page, long-press the field, and tap on the Paste option. All the emails in your notes section will move to the email field of your contact.

Method #2: Sending Group Email in Gmail Without Showing Recipients
When sending a message to different people in your contact list but want to keep the recipient’s names hidden, use the blind carbon copy (Bcc) method. This way, recipients won’t know whether anyone else received the message. Check out the steps to follow when creating such emails.
Step 1: Compose a new message
Log into your Gmail account, and click the Compose option. A pop-up window will appear where you’re to add your recipients, subject, and message.
Under the To field, put at least one email address. You can either type Undisclosed Recipient followed by your email address in brackets or leave it blank.
