Method #3: Check Using a Third-Party App
If you don’t want to do any of the methods listed above, you can always download a third-party app from the app store. Apps like Voxist allow users to interact and access their voicemails without having to use the phone app. One of the advantages of using an application like Voxist is the additional features that may not be included with your phone. Features like Voice-to-text allows user to read their voicemails instead of having to listen to each one. This feature can be huge for those who often spend a lot of time listening to voicemails as it can greatly shorten the amount of time that it takes.
There are a ton of different options that are available on the play store. Identify what kinds of features you would like to have from a voicemail app. Chances are that there is an app for just that feature. If you searched that app store and still can’t seem to find the app that you want, you can always try rooting your phone so that you can download additional app stores. Just keep in mind while you are searching for a new app to use for your voicemail that you make sure it doesn’t contain any malware that could steal your information. Some voice apps that aren’t made with the best intentions in mind can steal your information by sending either the audio or the transcripts of the message to themselves without you ever knowing.
Whenever it’s getting a new phone or just wanting to see old voice messages, checking your voicemail can be tricky. But it doesn’t have to be. Now that you know how to check your voicemail messages in three different ways, you can easily navigate the Android voicemail system or even download one from the app store if you prefer.
