Your Twitter handle says a lot about your online persona, but it’s not permanent. As your tastes change, you may wonder how to change Twitter handles. The social media company makes things simple whether you use the platform from your mobile phone or a PC.
What is a Twitter Handle?
A Twitter handle is your username on Twitter and how your followers can find you. Your @username is part of your online presence, but it’s also what you can use to log in to your account. When you want to tag someone on the platform, it all starts with the @ symbol and is completely separate from your “display name”
The display name is shown alongside your Twitter handle and can be set to anything you’d like including your real name. The only real rules are it can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores, but no symbols. Your Twitter handle or username also must be at least 4 characters long with a limit of 15 characters.

It’s also a good idea to see if the name you want is available before considering a change.
