How to Cancel SiriusXM in 5 Easy Steps (With Photos)

With a full 150-channel lineup, SiriusXM has something for everyone. The satellite radio service features in some car purchases. A consumer-friendly free trial plan allows you to test the waters. However, if you have tried SiriusXM and feel it’s not for you, you can easily cancel your plan in five easy steps.

The only tricky part about canceling a SiriusXM subscription is not knowing which provider you used to sign up. Don’t worry if you are unsure of the provider; we have you covered. We usually recommend checking through SiriusXM directly first, then moving on to other providers like Apple or Roku next. If your car comes with a free trial, most of the time, your subscription will be through SiriusXM directly. Below, we show you how to cancel your SiriusXM subscription through SiriusXM directly, Apple, Google Play Store, and Roku.

Canceling Through SiriusXM

1. Navigate to the SiriusXM Website

*Tap on the profile icon at the top right-hand corner of the page.*

2. Manage My Account

*From the profile drop-down menu, click on **Manage My Account**.*

3. Click on I Want To…

*Scroll down until you see a box labeled **Active Radios/Subscriptions**.*

4. Cancel My Subscription

*Follow the prompts, and you will successfully cancel your SiriusXM subscription.*

From this drop-down menu, click on Cancel My Subscription. A couple of prompts will pop up to confirm this selection. Once confirmed – you’re all set. With the helpful steps above you should now know how to successfully cancel your subscription to SiriusXM. Canceling Through iOS

If you signed up for SiriusXM through the Apple App store or iTunes, you could cancel your subscription with your iPhone.

1. Open Settings

*Tap on the section at the top of the page with your name.*

Open Settings on your phone. The icon is a grey square with a gear wheel if you cannot find it.

2. Tap on Subscriptions

*In the first chunk of this page, tap on the one called **Subscriptions**.*

3. Select SiriusXM

*Select SiriusXM from the list of subscriptions you signed up for with iOS.*

If you don’t see SiriusXM in this list, you did not sign up for SiriusXM with iOS or are logged into a different Apple account.

4. Cancel Subscription

After selecting SiriusXM, you will be directed to a page that tells you when your plan will renew and how much you are paying. At the bottom of this page, tap on the red text that reads Cancel Subscription.

If you have successfully canceled your subscription, instead of the renewal date, you will now see when your subscription is officially canceled.

Canceling Through Android

Just like Apple users, Android users can use the Google Play Store to sign up for SiriusXM. That means you can use your phone to cancel your SiriusXM subscription quickly.

1. Open Google Play Store

*Tap on the **Profile** **icon** at the top-right corner.*

2. Payments and Subscriptions

*Tap on **Payments & Subscriptions**, which is the third option from the top.*

3. Select SiriusXM

A few prompts will come up to confirm your decision.

Tap on SiriusXM and then select Cancel Subscription. After completing those prompts, you will have successfully canceled your SiriusXM subscription.

If you don’t see SiriusXM in this list, that means you did not sign up for SiriusXM with Google Play Store or you used a different Google account.

Canceling Through Roku

Finally, the last method we will go over in this article is Roku. You could use the Roku website if you signed up for SiriusXM through a Roku device on your TV.

1. Navigate To Roku.com

*Open your browser and go to the Roku website.*

2. Click on The Profile Icon

*Click on the **Profile icon** in the top-right corner of the page if you haven’t signed into your Roku account*.

3. My Account

From this drop-down menu, click on My Account.

4. Manage Your Subscriptions

*From the **My Account** page, click on **Manage Your Subscriptions** under the **Manage Account** section of the page.*

5. Select Sirius XM

On this page, you will see a list of subscriptions you are currently signed up for through Roku. From this list, click on Manage Subscription by SiriusXM.

If you do not see SiriusXM in this list, you did not sign up for SiriusXM through Roku.

6. Turn Off Auto-Renew

*When you select Sirius XM, you will see three options for your account.*

Send me an email reminder: This option will send you an email reminder two days before your next subscription payment. This is a good option if you are using a free trial or are not sure about canceling your subscription yet.

Turn off auto-renew: This option will cancel your subscription. Here, it will show you what date you can enjoy your subscription up to, and then after that date, you will no longer be paying for that service.

Keep my subscription: If you click a subscription service you want to keep by accident, select this option.

After you have selected the option that best suits your needs, click Confirm Changes. Congratulations, you have successfully canceled your SiriusXM subscription.
