Audible from Amazon is easily the largest seller of audiobooks in the world. You can have anyone reading a book in your ear, from celebrities to your favorite authors. However, despite the size of their library, you might want to cancel your subscription to save some money. We recommend canceling your subscription on your computer as there’s no option to cancel Audible on the app itself. Here is how to cancel Audible subscription.
1. Go To Audible.com
There is a good chance your audible account has the same login as your Amazon account.
In a web browser of your choice, navigate to Audible.com and log into your account if you are not already.
2. Click on Account Details
Under account details, you can view your pre-orders and Listen history.
Towards the top right corner of the website, you should see an option that says Hi, Your Name. Click on the downward-facing arrow and click on Account Details.
3. Your Membership
Next billing date and summary of credit are visible in the membership area.
This will bring you to a page that says Your membership at the top. Here it will tell you how many credits you have in your account and when the next bill date is. At the bottom of the page, you will see three options. From here, choose Cancel Membership.
On this page, you can also Switch membership or Pause membership. Switching your membership allows switching between the different pricing plans that they offer. Pausing your membership will enable you to take a break from payments until you can pay again while retaining the credits you have already accrued.
4. Continue Cancelation
Pausing membership is a good option for those, who like Audible, but can’t afford to keep it at the moment.
After selecting Cancel Membership, you will be directed to a page with the option to pause your membership.
For the purposes of this tutorial, we will be canceling our membership, though. So choose No continue cancelation at the bottom of the page.
5. Fill out the Survey
Audible will ask you to complete a survey about why you are canceling your membership.
Whether or not you filled out the survey, you will choose No, continue cancelation to move forward to the next step.
6. Finish Canceling
Audible will ask you one more time if you absolutely want to cancel your subscription.
To complete the process, you will select the orange Finish Canceling button.
Congratulations, you have canceled your Audible account. You will be able to use your remaining credits until the end of your billing period. So if there are any audiobooks you have been wanting to pick up, be sure to do it before those credits are gone.

Will I be charged if I cancel Audible?
After canceling Audible, if you haven’t already paid for the billing cycle you are in, you will pay one more time, and then you will not be charged anymore.
Will I lose my books if I cancel Audible
No, you will not. You will not lose anything you have purchased with credits, and money will not be taken from your library after canceling your Audible subscription.
What happens to credit when you cancel Audible?
If you have remaining credits after canceling Audible, you have until the end of your billing period to use those up. We reccomend using your remaining credits before canceling so you will not lose those benefits.
Can I still listen to Audible after I cancel?
With Audible, if you cancel your Audible membership, you will still have access to the audiobooks you purchased via your Audible library.
