Cancel an Order on Amazon.com

1. Log into Amazon.com

Sign in to Amazon.com with your email or mobile phone number and password.

2. Navigate to Orders

Orders should be the second option from the top and will take you to Your Orders page.

Simply hover your cursor over Accounts and Lists. More options for Accounts and Lists should pop up beneath, which you can then move your cursor over to choose. Another way to find Your Orders page is to click on Accounts and Lists. Amazon will bring up a new page with more options, including a short description. Click on Your Orders in the top left row.

3. Click Cancel items

Amazon displays orders made within the last three months at the top of the list, so you should be able to find the order fast.

The order display box includes a Cancel items option. Go ahead and click that.

If you don’t see the order you’re looking for, use the search bar. Type in the items from the order you want to cancel and find them among the listed results.

4. Request Cancellation

If the order hasn’t already shipped, Amazon will cancel it and send you a confirmation email.

Once you click Cancel items on order in question, Amazon will take you to an Order Summary page where you can check boxes on the items you’d like to cancel. To cancel all items in an order, check all boxes listed. If you only want to cancel a specific item, check the box for that item only, then request cancellation and bam! You’re done!

Cancel an Order in the Amazon Shopping App

1. Open Amazon Shopping App

You can use the Amazon Shopping App to manage orders and track information from one central place.

2. Go to Profile

The Profile icon resembles the head and shoulders of a person.

Tap on the Profile icon, located second from the front on the bottom row.

3. Tap Your Orders

Your Order is located in the top left column beneath your name. Tap on it.

4. Choose and cancel orders

Amazon lists your most recent orders in the last three months at the top of the page.

Click on the order in question or one of the items in the order. The Cancel order button is sandwiched between two other order options.

6. Request cancellation

The Request cancellation page will list your items with checkboxes beside them. If you want to cancel the entire order, check all of the boxes. You can also cancel individual items by checking the boxes of those items.

Once you tap the Request cancellation button. Amazon will cancel the order and send you a confirmation email if the item(s) hasn’t been shipped. You can also check the item’s status or order to see if it has been canceled.
