1. Open the PayPal app
Using a smartphone or tablet, locate the PayPal app on your device and tap to open it. If you’re not automatically signed in, do so now.
2. Tap on Crypto
With the app open, find the tab labeled Crypto and tap on it to open PayPal’s crypto menu.
3. Choose Ethereum
PayPal doesn’t overwhelm you with options like a regular cryptocurrency exchange, so there are only a handful of options under this menu. Scroll until you see a section called Ethereum, and select it.
4. Select Buy
From here, you can choose a preset amount of Ethereum to purchase from the menu or enter any amount you’d like. If you want to set your purchase amount, choose Buy.
5. Set Amount
Enter the amount of Ethereum you wish to purchase from PayPal and tap on Next to bring up a new menu. Now choose the method of payment you want to use to purchase ETH with PayPal.
6. Confirm Purchase
Once you’ve set an amount and proceed to the next screen, it’s time to review your purchase. You’ll see the current rate for Ethereum along with your payment method and any fees associated with the transfer. If you’re satisfied, select Buy Now to complete your purchase.
