All About Blocking Someone on Twitch
Nearly every social media and communications platform has a blocking feature. As a matter of fact, it’s a required feature for apps supported in Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store — the ability to control who can interact with you and who can see you.
Twitch is no different from most other platforms, except you get a few extra moderation options. Blocking someone on Twitch can be done using several methods. From using commands to ModView, you should have no trouble keeping troublesome people out of your sacred online space.
When you block someone on Twitch, they can’t send you Whispers or comment in your chats. They also can’t see your live streams. If you block another Twitch user on someone else’s channel, you won’t see their messages, and they won’t see yours.
Task Complete
Hopefully, you won’t need to use this feature often. However, it definitely comes in handy when someone is bothering, harassing, or disrespecting you. Fortunately, it doesn’t take much to block people, and it’s an effective way to make your Twitch experience more enjoyable.
