SiriusXM satellite radio isn’t just for cars. You can listen to your favorite Sirius stations on your iPhone, Android, computer, and, yes even Alexa. However, before you can listen to your Top 100 playlist, you must add Sirius to Alexa.
How do you add Sirius to Alexa, you may ask? We’ll guide you through the steps so you can say, “Alexa, play my favorite songs,” and listen to SiriusXM on all your Echo devices.
How to Add Sirius to Alexa
Listening to Sirius on your Alexa devices is great after you enable the SiriusXM skill and link your account. While this may seem a tedious process at first, it isn’t that bad. All you need is your smartphone, the Alexa app, and your Sirius login credentials.
Note: Make sure that your Echo device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Once you’ve gathered that information and checked your connectivity, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Alexa App
If you’re familiar with Alexa, you already know you need to install the Alexa app on your iOS or Android. If you don’t have it yet, head to the iPhone App Store or the Android Google Play Store and install the Alexa app.
Then, open the app and tap More in the lower right corner. Tap Skills & Games in the menu that appears.
