The worldwide leader in sports is available across almost every platform you can imagine. The Bristol-based network has cranked out content since 1979, when the first edition of Sportscenter graced the airwaves.
While they started small, they are a juggernaut in the sports industry today. You can find ESPN content on cable providers, streaming services, and through platforms like DISH Network. At this time, DISH carries four main channels and two NCAA sister stations.
DISH Networks subscribers get access to the company’s main channels with ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPNews, and ESPN U. They are available in every package, including the base America’s Top 120 tier. The SEC and ACC Networks are also available, but only through the America’s Top 120+ package and higher.
ESPN Programming on DISH Network

ESPN Sister Stations on DISH Network

ESPNews has a slate featuring content and simulcasts from ESPN. It was a popular destination for morning talk shows like Keyshawn, JWill, and Max but has undergone changes like other ESPN sister stations. Alternatively, ESPNU isn’t as stale as ESPN2 and ESPNews when it comes to content. They are focused on collegiate sports and have rights to key conferences across the United States.
If you love college sports, you will definitely appreciate EPSNU. It’s channel 141 on DISH Network and this spin-off station has a variety of long-running shows. That includes SportscenterU, which highlights coverage from the college sports world. Daily programming varies by season, but you can expect hockey, basketball, cheerleading, and more, including select high school coverage.
The ACC and SEC Networks are two more channels dedicated to the college side of spots. Each covers their respective conferences and is not included in the base DISH Network package. The Longhorn network still exists, but it should be absorbed into the SEC Network since the Longhorns will jump to the SEC in 2024.
