So, there’s no shortage of unique characters to build your team with! Characters have many unique features, and hair color may or may not be important to you. Let’s look at the roster of black-haired characters in Genshin Impact.
How Many Black-Haired Genshin Impact Characters Are There?
We’ve counted seven characters with explicitly black hair. Now, we aren’t counting characters whose hair sometimes appears blue and sometimes black, or black in their portrait and blue in their model. This list is only for characters with black hair in their portrait and their model.
However, we did include characters with multi-colored hair that is predominantly black. So, you can take this list or leave it. We tried our best to determine the honest answer within the constraints of anime hair colors.
To kick off our list, we have the one, the only: Venti. Now, Venti’s hair is also partially blue. However, the predominant color of his hair is black. So, we’re putting him on this list. Venti is the Anemo Archon that rules over Mondstadt in the story, and his day job is singing songs as a bard and drinking too much wine.
This Genshin Impact character is available in the Limited-Time Wish Banner “Of Ballads and Goblets,” which re-runs regularly. So, if you aren’t able to pick him up on the current banner, don’t worry; he’ll be back. Let’s take a look at Venti’s skills.
|Normal Attack: Venti will perform up to 6 consecutive rapid-fire shots using his bow.
Charged Attack: This is a more precise shot the player can aim before firing. While charging, winds will accumulate on the arrowhead, and a fully charged shot will deal Anemo damage.
Plunging Attack: Venti fires a shower of arrows from mid-air before plunging to the ground and dealing area of effect damage on impact.
|Tap: Tapping the skill summons winds at an enemy’s location, dealing Anemo damage and launching enemies into the air.
Hold: Holding the skill summons winds around Venti, dealing increased Anemo damage and launching enemies around him into the air. Venti rides the winds into the air after using the Hold version of this ability.
|Wind’s Grand Ode
|Venti fires an arrow made of wind that creates a Stormeye, sucking in enemies and dealing continuous Anemo damage.
Elemental Absorption: If the Stormeye comes in contact with Hydro, Electro, Pyro, or Cryo energy, it will begin to deal additional damage of that type. Elemental Absorption can occur only once per use of Wind’s Grand Ode.
|Embrace of the Winds
|Holding Skyward Sonnet creates an updraft that characters can ride with their gliders for 20 seconds.
|Venti regenerates 15 elemental energy when Wind’s Grand Ode ends. If the Stormeye absorbs a second element, it restores 15 elemental energy for all the party’s characters of that element.
|Gliding stamina is decreased for the entire party by 20%. This passive does not stack with passives that grant the same effect.
