What Are Funko Pops?
Okay, if you’re reading this article and have no idea what a Funko Pop is, that’s fine! To keep things simple, the giant-headed, big-eyed plastic replicas known as Funko Pops are made in the likeness of your favorite pop culture figures, personalities, and celebrities.
And we’re not just talking about the biggest and brightest stars, but even very specific Funko Pops for those that are true fans of a specific era or culture, like Boo Berry. If you’re under the age of 30, you might not even know who that is!
But that’s the beauty of Funko Pops. If you love someone or something from a show, an anime character, or really anything that you’ve seen, you can most likely find a Funko Pop that will make you nostalgic.
The Best Funko Pops Ever Made
Now, let’s dive into the best Funko Pops ever made, and how you can get your hands on each one! Again, these are mostly personal preferences, as well as those that have been popular in terms of sales figures upon release. Opinions may vary!
1. Baby Yoda
- Part of the Baby Yoda Star Wars: The Mandalorian collection
- Stands approximately 3.25 inches tall
- Weighs 0.26 lbs
For the best Star Wars character, we’ve picked Baby Yoda #378. First, Star Wars fans and haters can all agree that Baby Yoda is the best thing since sliced bread. Not only is he adorable, but he gives us all the vibes of “I’m really just YOLOing at this point.”
It is because of this little green guy that The Mandalorian has become a dominant force in the Star Wars narrative. Now, technically, we know his name is not Baby Yoda. His real name is Grogu, and he’s also been known as “The Child.” But that’s beside the point. He looks like a Baby Yoda to those who know nothing about Star Wars, so that’s what we call him.
While Funko Pop dolls are already known for their disproportionately large heads, Baby Yoda’s head is so big in comparison to his body that the figurine looks exactly like him. He’s also perfect looking wrapped in his cozy blankets and holding a hot cup of bone broth.

2. Pikachu
- Stands approximately 3.54" tall
- Weighs 3.87 ounces
- Voted highly giftable
The best Pokémon character by far is Pikachu #353. Pickaaa-pickaaa-pick-a-CHUUU! We can almost guarantee that 99% of Millennials and Gen Z know this cute little yellow guy (or girl, there are multiple types of Pikachu!). And yes, that is certainly an exaggeration, but that doesn’t mean this Funko Pop wasn’t incredibly popular.
Even though Pikachu was released in 2018 and was a Target exclusive (at first), it sold out fast. We certainly think it makes it a “best” list item for that!
Pikachu, the most well-known Pokémon of them all, stands haughtily with his hands in front. Its all-yellow head and torso are accented by the recognizable black ear tips and round eyes, as well as brilliant red cheek circles. Super cute, and incredibly nostalgic.

3. Mr. Rogers
- Weighs 4 ounces
- 3.5 inches tall
- Seen clutching a replica of the Neighborhood Trolley
Ah, speaking of nostalgia, our top pick is Mr. Rogers #634. One of the greatest men to ever live (again, bias will be shown in this article), we think it’s only fair that Mr. Rogers and his Funko Pop are added to this list.
While Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood may have come to an end 20 years ago, the documentaries Won’t You Be My Neighbor and A Lovely Day in the Neighborhood certainly helped us remember the value of love and acceptance.
This Funko Pop is Fred Rogers clutching a replica of the Neighborhood Trolley while wearing his most iconic costume, which includes a colorful sweater, canvas sneakers, and pants. If you need a simple and gentle reminder that you are loved exactly as you are, this will certainly do the trick. And, of course, he’ll always like you just the way you are.

4. 80th Anniversary Batman
- 3.75 inches tall
- Highly durable and giftable
- Weighs approximately 0.035 ounces
There are many anniversary Funko Pops, but the best one is 80th Anniversary Batman #275. For those who loved walking or running around screaming “I’m Batman,” why not have a really cool collectible and figurine all in one with the 80th Anniversary Batman Funko Pop?
Batman celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2019 and, to celebrate, Funko created a commemorative collection. While we’ve seen many renditions, from George Clooney’s appearance to Robert Pattinson’s most recent one, many Batman enthusiasts prefer the fan favorite Michael Keaton, who starred in the 1989 version.
Any lover of Batman would appreciate this miniature, but especially those who loved Keaton’s chiseled jaw and his “You wanna get nuts?” line.

5. Alexander Hamilton in Orange Coat
For all the music lovers out there, our top musical Funko Pop is Hamilton in Orange Coat #01. We’re trying to include multiple different fandoms in this list, and that means including musical lovers, too. One of the best (and, frankly, popular) musicals has been Hamilton. Even those who don’t like the genre seemed to gravitate toward this one!
Because of that, Alexander Hamilton in Orange Coat Funko Pops were extremely popular. Funko started producing them in 2021. They also had tiny figurines of George Washington, the Schuyler Sisters, Aaron Burr, and other historical figures.
But, let’s be completely honest: Alexander Hamilton was one of the cutest. And whether you like the real man behind the portrayal or not, you have to admit that Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Funko Pop version is pretty cool.

6. Vegito
- 3.5 inches tall
- Weighs 3.98 ounces
- Perfect for ages 3 and up
The best Dragon Ball Z Funko Pop goes to Vegito #949. Okay, okay, so you didn’t like Pokémon as a kid. But, did you like Dragon Ball Z? If so, you’ll love Vegito. Vegito is one of the most powerful fighters in the extensive roster of Dragon Ball characters, despite the fact that he is the rather enigmatic offspring of a body fusion between Goku and Vegeta.
The Vegito Funko Pop, which has Vegeta’s trademark flame-shaped black hair and attire like Goku’s, was introduced at the 2021 Funko Fair. The little guy has over 600 4- and 5-star ratings on Amazon alone, so it’s safe to say that people love him.

7. The Golden Girls
- Figures stand 3.75 inches tall
- Includes Sophia, Rose, Blanche, and Dorothy (individually packaged)
The best TV show collection goes to none other than the Golden Girls. Okay, technically, we’re cheating by listing out four Funko Pops under one name, but who can pick just one Golden Girl? Not us. We can’t disrespect these awesome ladies like that.
The Golden Girls, a show that stars these four unabashedly old yet brutally sexy ladies, has captivated audiences old and young for decades. And all four of these renowned characters were turned into POP figurines, so go ahead and invest in Sophia, Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose.

8. Tenth Doctor
- Weighs 2.99 ounces
- Stands 3.75 inches tall
- Great for fans of Dr. Who
Obviously the best Doctor Who goes to the Tenth Doctor #221. It’s safe to say that everyone knows THAT the Tenth Doctor (played by David Tennant) is the best. And if you’re on that bandwagon, then you need a Funko Pop of him!
Released in 2015, this Funko Pop can be hard to find (mainly because it was re-released in 2020, but the 2015 version is better). But, if you’re lucky enough to snag his character with the distinctive Converse and spikey hair, you’ll be in Doctor Who heaven. Oh, and don’t forget to grab the TARDIS, too, while you’re at it!

9. Eleven with Eggo Waffles
- Stands 3.75 inches tall
- Weighs 2.99 ounces
- Recommended age: 5 years and up
If you are a Stranger Things fan, you know that Eleven with Eggo Waffles #421 is the best in this category. We can’t get over Eleven’s Funko Pop holding her waffles. While Stranger Things hasn’t been around very long compared to some of the other shows and characters on this list, it easily became a cult favorite. And if you’re looking for a figurine from the first season, this is the one to get!
Keep in mind that buying this Funko Pop online gives you two options — with and without the blonde wig. Ordering online will usually mean you’ll get the Eleven without the wig, so if you prefer her with the wig, you’ll need to search for that Funko Pop specifically. Also, be prepared to fork over a bit more cash for that version.

10. Smiling Seated Stitch
- Weighs 0.035 ounces
- Recommended age: 3 years and up
- Stands 3.5 inches tall
The best Funko Pop for Disney lovers is Smiling Seated Stitch #1045. Okay, we had to finish this list with a Funko Pop for Disney lovers. We understand that not everyone loves princes and princesses. But, do you know whom everyone does love? A certain blue dog-like alien that starts off evil, falls in love with his new family, and tries to be good. And we can never forget that Ohana means family.
While there are many different Stitch Funko Pop options, one of our favorites is the seated version. This is because it was one of the original releases and, let’s be honest, Stitch is super adorable in that position. Who’s a good boy? Stitch is.

The Wrap Up
So, what do you think, did we choose some good options? Whether you’re a fan of their movies, shows, or characters, this list has something for everyone. And, not only are they affordable (a great way to start building your collection if you haven’t yet), but they’re also fun!
