This arcade-like game is baseball through and through and, in its fourth generation, finally introduces more than 200 larger-than-life versions of real-world players like Johnny Damon, Jason Giambi, and Ozzie Smith.
When it comes to gameplay, Super Mega Baseball 4 separates itself from the pack by utilizing an arcade-inspired style that allows you to play an exhibition match, season, elimination, or a pennant race. The game’s signature style also lets you play through a game in short order, so you can play a few games in under an hour. There is even a free agency opportunity to draft and acquire new players so you can continue to load your team with superstars.

Thankfully, Out of the Park Baseball 24 helps guide you through all of these processes with outstanding tutorials to make sure you have all of the info you need to become the next World Series champion.

Originally released as a baseball game for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, a port for PC of BASEBALL STARS 2 would land in the Steam store in 2016. The highlight of this title is its retro look with graphics that feel as if they still belong on 8- or 16-bit consoles.
The single-player game focuses on your ability to play as one of 6 teams from around the world where you can take on opponents in a 15-game tournament. Switch gears to play against friends in a local co-op match and you can challenge them to a 9-inning battle with a split-screen view.
In addition, the updated release of BASEBALL STARS 2 added enhanced pitch controls and the ability to shift your player’s defensive position while your opponent is batting. As a bonus, the game also added the ability to see lead-offs while pitching, and you can now make substitutions for up to 6 pitchers and 4 bench players per game.

With all of this data available, Baseball Mogul 2022 throws you into the job of general manager of your favorite MLB team. It’s now your role to draft the right players and create a lineup that is capable of going deep into the postseason.
What’s more, you are not just the general manager as you dive right into games and enter play-by-play mode to make managerial calls in each game. If you want to call the right pitch, you can do exactly that or make the decision to try and stretch a double into a triple to go for the winning run.
Everything from its realistic simulation to detailed player editors helps make Baseball Mogul 2022 feel like a terrific management game and it can keep you involved for years to come.

As a dedicated VR experience on PC, you will need a VR-compatible computer, but if you have one, you can try and swing for as many dingers as possible. The best part is that this game is officially licensed by MLB, so you have 30 true-to-life MLB ballparks to choose from in your attempt to win the home run derby again and again. You can even participate in the 2023 MLB All-Star game home run contest at the home of the Seattle Mariners.
Whether you are challenging your friends or going solo, you have to step up your game and hit as many dingers as possible. The game offers options for both right and left-handed swingers, with excellent visuals and game reviews reporting very few glitches, which makes for a smooth all-around experience on a compatible PC.

Unfortunately, baseball games on the PC are a little scarce compared to consoles, which is disappointing news for gamers who use the PC as their main source of entertainment. While there are multiple versions of Super Mega Baseball, there hasn’t been a real-world baseball game like R.B.I. Baseball games released in the last few years for the PC. Instead, developers have dedicated their time to video game consoles where sales are stronger.
